DAT Board Endorses YES on Bond Question #10 – Workforce Housing Bonds

The Downtown Action Team Board of Directors voted this month to endorse Bond Question #10 – Workforce Housing Bonds, on this October 4, City of Albuquerque Election Ballot. The Board of DAT, encourages you to vote YES on Bond Question #10. Your “YES” vote on #10 means $10 million for constructing and maintaining high quality housing – all without a tax rate increase. Your “YES” vote will also help to restore our local economy, create shovel-ready new jobs and give families and senior citizens a solid foundation.
Past Workforce Housing bonds have created over 400 homes for Albuquerque families, created nearly 1000 jobs and generated over $27 million in additional local economic activity. This includes such projects Downtown as the 700 2nd project at 2nd and Lomas and the Silver Gardens project at 1st and Silver. Your YES vote on #10 will create even more affordable homes and jobs.
